Recalls and advisories arise when a product is discovered to carry potential health risks or pose safety hazards to consumers using those products. The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) is dedicated to safeguarding food, animals and plants, enhancing the health and well-being of Canada's people, environment and economy. The CFIA provides information on recalls and allergy alerts related to food products available.
